The House investigative committee has made public a batch of approximately 70 photos secured from the holdings of late convicted sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third release from a cache of more than 95,000 photos the panel has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It features photographs of quotes from the novel Lolita inscribed across a woman's body, and censored pictures of women's international passports.

This release occurs just hours before the December 19th deadline for the DOJ to make public each documents related to its probe into Epstein.

"These latest images pose additional queries about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its holdings," remarked the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Made Public

Several of the images published on Thursday feature Epstein in discussion with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates seen alongside a woman whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon sitting at a table facing Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest high-net-worth, influential figures to be seen in Epstein property photographs released by the House Oversight Committee - previously published images also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the photographs is is not considered proof of any wrongdoing, and many of the photographed men have said they were in no way participating in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a statement released with the photo disclosure, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate's representatives did not offer background information or dates for the images.

"Photographs were selected to furnish the general populace with openness into a representative sample of the photographs acquired from the holdings, and to provide understanding into Epstein's circle and his extremely troubling activities," the statement states.

The publication also features a number of images of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov book Lolita written in ink across several locations of a woman's body, including her chest, lower extremity, hipbone, and rear. Lolita tells the tale of a young girl who was groomed by a adult literature professor.

An example of a quote from the novel scrawled across a woman's torso states, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

The release also contains a collection of images of women's identification and official papers from nations worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the information on the papers, such as identities and birth dates, is censored but the panel indicated in a statement that the passports belong to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were interacting with".

An additional photograph depicts Epstein seated at a desk intimately surrounded by three women whose faces have been obscured - one individual has her palm on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another is crouching to view a nearby device. Epstein can be seen to be aiding the final person attach a wristband.

An additional photo made public is a capture of digital messages from an unknown individual who states they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are demanding "$1000 per female".

Photo Release Occurs Before DOJ Due Date

The panel has thousands of photos in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "at once disturbing and ordinary," its announcement on this week clarified.

The oversight panel first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York prison in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein estate submitted to the committee are different than what is largely called "the Epstein documents". Those files are records under the DOJ's control connected to its independent investigation into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which President Trump enacted recently, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to release its documents. The scope of the contents contained in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's probable that much of the material will be extensively redacted, akin to House Oversight Committee documents
